Delicate white tea from selected young leaves. Straight from a clean, high-mountain plantation.
Although the dry leaves themselves do not indicate this, because when poured, the tea turns out to be very aromatic. Delicate, vegetable flavor, with unobtrusive floral and herbal accents and apple peel. It leaves a distinct aftertaste on the back of the palate. The leaves are characterized by an extremely careful selection of 1 bud and 2 leaves as standard.
Jun Chiyabari plantation was founded in 2001 by brothers. It quickly gained recognition, because the owners still have a great hunger to constantly improve their tea.
All high-mountain Nepalese teas are grown without the use of artificial plant protection agents or synthetic fertilizers. Jun Chiyabari tea from the garden is certified organic, it is one hundred percent "pure".
It is not a typical white tea - this name should be reserved for Yin Zhen, Bai Mu Dan, Gong Mei and Shou Mei teas. Like many teas from the foothills of the Himalayas, it balances on the border of styles, somewhere between white and green tea, so you need to pour water at a slightly lower temperature.
