Young, raw Pu-erh tea of great quality. Very delicate.
Fresh, floral and herbal aroma. Delicate taste with only minimal bitterness. Long but light aftertaste, with a pleasant sweetness and quite a distinct hint of apricot. The infusion is straw-colored, light, slightly cloudy due to the suspended fluff on the young leaves.
This tea is made from old tea bushes, aged 100 to 200 years, from an approximately 200-year-old tea garden in Matai, in the Lincang region in the west of Yunnan Province. The garden is located at an altitude of about 1600 m above sea level, and tea bushes grow here on very rocky soil, even directly on large rocks - that is why the local tea is also called "Chinese rock tea".
