Formosa Mountain Hong Shui

Dark, roasted oolong grown in the Taidong region of eastern Taiwan.
The perfect microclimate - the right amount of rainfall and plenty of sun - create the perfect conditions for this great tea. The color of the infusion is amber with an aromatic bouquet of tropical fruits. Very good, more oxidized and roasted oolong.
Good for those who look for notes closer to black teas in the rich spectrum of oolong tea flavors. Hong shui (红 水) literally means "red water". This style of oolong is named after the color of the brew.
